About the Role
The Company is seeking a Dean of Academics to join their growing leadership team. The successful candidate will be an experienced educational leader with a passion for fostering a culture of belonging and a love of learning. This role is integral to both the instructional and cultural aspects of the academic environment, with a focus on creating an environment that delivers quality instruction, develops teachers, and enables student growth. The Dean of Academics will work closely with the Director of Studies and Director of Curriculum, and will be responsible for supporting and collaborating on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, as well as for maintaining an active presence across all academic departments. Essential functions include mentoring and evaluating department chairs, observing faculty in the classroom, and leading professional development. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, committed to the unique developmental needs of adolescents, and will serve as a model for the teaching faculty.Candidates for the Dean of Academics position at the company should have a strong background in managing adults, goal-setting, and providing meaningful feedback. The role requires the ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and drive towards clarity and solutions.
