About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging to lead the development and implementation of proactive initiatives that support the strategic plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging the community to build a welcoming and inclusive culture, designing training on various topics to increase awareness of equity and inclusion values, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws. This role involves providing administrative oversight of the Social Justice and Equity Center, managing a departmental budget, and coordinating with key stakeholders to plan and execute DEIB-related events and training. The Executive Director will also be a key leader in the campus-wide Diversity Council, representing the college in various associations, and making data-driven recommendations to the Provost and president's team.Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Master's degree in a related field, with advanced coursework preferred, and a minimum of 5 years administrative experience in higher education. A strong background in developing and supporting DEIB initiatives, excellent communication and project management skills, and a passion for equity, diversity, and inclusion work in an educational setting is essential. The role requires the ability to build collaborative partnerships, experience in budget management, and a proven track record of making recommendations for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will also have technical and analytical skills, with experience in web design/management software and programming being a plus.
