About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice Chair for Clinical Operations, Quality, and Innovation. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chair to expand and enhance clinical services in ways that advance quality, health equity, and innovation. This leadership role involves the development and execution of strategies to grow the department's clinical footprint, oversee quality improvement initiatives, and collaborate with the leadership of the academic and affiliated healthcare organizations. The Vice Chair will also be responsible for clinical care, medical student teaching, and the development of efficient and effective clinical operations, including the design of clinical workflow improvements and the expansion of innovative clinical programs.Applicants for the Vice Chair position at the company should be board-certified in Family Medicine with a current CT state license or eligibility to obtain one. A minimum of five years of experience in leading progressive improvements within a clinical environment is required, as well as experience in quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a background in additional training such as an MBA, MHA, MPH, or Clinical Informatics, and experience with value-based care design, implementation, and monitoring outcomes. Skills in data analysis, financial and strategic planning, and a track record of scholarly work in relevant areas are also preferred. The role demands a candidate with a growth mindset, a strong work ethic, and the ability to mentor and lead in a complex work environment.
