About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Commercial Procurement to lead a global team responsible for the procurement activities related to the commercialization of its product portfolio. This pivotal role involves driving performance across various commercial procurement categories, including cost savings and the optimization of supplier relationships. The successful candidate will work closely with commercial leaders to support the company's revenue targets and new product pipeline, and will be accountable for the design, development, and execution of the commercial procurement strategy. The VP will also be tasked with talent development, ensuring supplier diversity and sustainability, and managing key strategic supplier relationships.Candidates for the VP, Commercial Procurement position at the company should have a B.S./B.A. with a minimum of 15 years' related experience, including at least 3 years in pharmaceutical procurement. The role requires a proven track record in leadership, extensive experience in project management, and strong skills in risk management, data analysis, and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a customer service mindset, the ability to lead through influence, and a successful history of working with international colleagues. Preferred qualifications include an M.S./M.B.A., professional certifications, and Six Sigma certification.
