About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director of Growth to play a pivotal role in the expansion of access to excellent schools. The successful candidate will be a senior leader responsible for executing and evolving the organization's growth strategy, with a focus on driving strategic initiatives to scale the impact of their work. This includes identifying, influencing, and funding high-quality educational institutions to ensure the opening of new schools in the community. The role involves leading efforts to measure impact, tell the organization's story, and engage with champions of the mission. The Managing Director of Growth will also be tasked with overseeing the cultivation and recruitment of new schools, managing the due diligence process for prospective operators, and ensuring strong partnerships with executive leadership across all portfolio schools and charter networks.Applicants for the Managing Director of Growth position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity, particularly in K-12 education strategy or consulting, and a preference for those with charter school experience. The role requires excellent organizational, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep knowledge of the K-12 education landscape. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of using data to inform decision-making, be resilient, and have a strong work ethic. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a graduate degree preferred, and the candidate should be adept at managing a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, and ensuring the team's growth and development.
