About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President & Senior Legal Counsel for Dispute Resolution to join their global legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's litigation and conflict resolution strategy in various forums, including court and arbitration proceedings. This role involves overseeing a diverse range of legal matters, from contractual disputes to government investigations, and requires a proactive approach to resolving issues and mitigating risks. The VP & Senior Legal Counsel will also be expected to provide legal assistance and advice to business colleagues, manage outside counsel, and ensure that the company's policies and practices are upheld in all legal matters.Candidates for this position should have a J.D. from a well-respected law school, be admitted to the U.S. Bar, and have a minimum of 12 years' of experience in complex commercial litigation. A business-oriented approach, strong leadership and relationship skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure are essential. The role demands excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to synthesize complex legal issues and provide clear guidance. Experience in the hospitality industry and international arbitration is a plus. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a proven track record in project management, and be willing to travel as necessary.
