About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, General Manager - Development Program to prepare the Assistant General Manager of Merchandising for a leadership role within the organization. This intensive program is designed to immerse the incumbent in the company's culture, people, client experience, and business ownership. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of luxury retail management experience, with a proven track record in leading fast-paced, high-volume sales environments and developing a clienteling culture. Key responsibilities include increasing sales, driving the selling and clienteling process, and ensuring the alignment of merchandise with local market needs. The role also involves developing and leading a high-performance sales team, coaching and mentoring managers and associates, and fostering a service and selling culture that exceeds customer expectations.Applicants for this role at the company must have an executive leadership presence, be 100% mobile with open availability to relocate, and be flexible in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This includes acting as the Chief Merchant for the store, executing the strategic vision, and facilitating cross-functional communication. The role also involves coaching the management team, overseeing talent development, and ensuring a customer service-driven team that aligns with the company's standards.
