Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive support to attorneys handling insurance defense matters.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research and gather evidence for cases.
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to schedule meetings, depositions, and other case-related activities.
• Organize and maintain case files and databases.
• Assist attorneys in the preparation and organization of trial exhibits.
• Manage deadlines, including filing and discovery compliance.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in insurance defense or litigation.
• Education: Paralegal certificate or equivalent education/experience in legal support.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation and insurance defense procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
