Job Description

LHH is working on behalf of our fantastic client in the insurance space who is looking to bring an AP Specialist on board on a 5+ month contract basis. This will require some in-office work in White Plains, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills and a desire to continue their career in an Accounts Payable capacity!
Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices and weekly payments
  • Perform related reconciliations
  • Ensure all vendor account information is kept up to date
  • Review GL coding
  • Assist with ad-hoc reporting and month-end closing
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 6+ months of relevant experience
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables & v-lookups
  • Experience with large ERP system preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Compensation: $25 - $32/hr, depending on experience.
