Position Overview:
The University of Iowa Department of Internal Medicine is seeking passionate and dedicated Hospitalists to join the Division of General Internal Medicine. Job Duties:
The selected candidates will practice in Hospital Medicine and play a lead inpatient role in the multidisciplinary care team. They will have a significant role in teaching, mentoring, and participating in scholarly activities.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degrees
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Residency Program
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Excellent communication skills
We are recruiting part-time and full-time physicians at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level in the Clinical Track, commensurate with experience and training. We will also consider candidates for an Instructor (non-track) appointment.
