Job Description

Korn Ferry Military has partnered with our client on their search for a Location Manager in their South Sioux City NE facility.


Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)


* This company is specifically seeking candidates with U.S. military experience *


Compensation: $75,000 (+ 20% bonus opportunity)


What You Will Do :

  • Directly supervise staff and manage efficient performance of the location. (Support staff consists of Assistant Location Manager, Dispatch, Trainer, Monitors / Aides, Safety Coordinator, Payroll/Office/Clerical, Shop Manager, Vehicle Mechanics.)
  • Represent organization with administrators for all communications (excluding contract negotiations.)
  • Manages operational expenses; explain budget variances.
  • Ensure safety practices and applicable regulations are obeyed by employees; manage injury and collision claims.
  • Ensure facilities and vehicles are maintained to all safety and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Set accurate scheduled hours for routes; minimize route drive times and mileage while adhering to contractual and regulatory mandates.
  • Provide accurate, timely operational and financial reporting (as requested.)
  • Ensure purchases (including parts) follow company processes and policies.


Education and Work Experience:

  • U.S. Military Experience required
  • 3-5 years management experience (highly preferable in Transportation)
  • Must be familiar with basic vehicle mechanical processes and maintenance
  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
