About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Business Development for Executive Search. This role is pivotal in supporting the firm's growth plans by focusing on two key areas: cultivating new prospects and strengthening existing client relationships to identify new executive search opportunities. The successful candidate will also serve as a resource and consultant to clients on employment market matters, hiring forecasts, and benchmark data. The role also demands high emotional intelligence, political savvy, and the ability to coach and guide clients in their specific hiring needs. The candidate will be expected to serve as an ambassador for the company, attending industry events and participating in thought leadership activities.The ideal candidate should have at least 8-10 years' of experience working with mid to senior-level decision-makers, a keen understanding of the employment market, and experience in strategic relationship development. A background in HR, consulting, banking, government contracting, or other professional services is preferred. The role requires the ability to engage prospective clients, negotiate search contracts, design strategic marketing campaigns, and possess high technical skills with a focus on efficiency. Applicants for the VP, Business Development role at the company should have a bachelor's degree in business, with a master's degree being preferred. The candidate must be comfortable collaborating with media outlets, have exceptional oratory and presentation skills, and be highly organized and motivated with a passion for client development.
