About the Role
The Company is seeking a Director of Human Resources to provide strategic leadership and oversight of HR functions. This senior leadership role is pivotal in developing, implementing, and managing HR policies, programs, and services that align with the organization's mission, vision, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with executive leadership to ensure HR strategies support the institution's goals, leading the HR team, and driving initiatives that foster a positive work environment, organizational development, and employee engagement. Key responsibilities include talent acquisition and retention, compensation and benefits management, compliance and risk management, and the design and implementation of training programs. The role also involves budget management, collaboration with stakeholders, and active contribution to institutional committees.Applicants for the Director of HR position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 7-10 years' HR experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in a healthcare, academic, or complex organizational environment. A Master's degree and HR certifications are preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing employee relations, compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, and HR compliance, particularly in a healthcare or academic medical center setting. Experience with both clinical and non-clinical HR functions, as well as with residency, fellowship, and academic staffing models, is a plus. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, who can effectively engage with a diverse workforce and drive HR initiatives that support the organization's values of equity and social justice.
