About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chair for the Department of Medicine, a role that demands a dynamic leader with a strong background in clinical, teaching, and research activities. The successful candidate will be tasked with providing academic and administrative leadership to ensure the department's excellence in patient care, education, research, and advocacy. This includes overseeing the department's clinical, teaching, and research projects, as well as fostering a collaborative environment that promotes best practices and supports the professional development of faculty and staff. The Chair will also be responsible for maintaining and building key educational and investigative relationships, both within the institution and with external partners.Applicants for the Chair of the Department of Medicine at the company should be eligible for a medical license in the State of Ohio, board-certified in Medicine, and have a distinguished record of academic experience and research productivity. The role requires a candidate with at least 10 years' of progressive management experience in the field of Medicine, preferably in a teaching institution, health center, and/or community hospital. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in clinical leadership, academic residency program leadership, and a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. A proactive and creative approach to improving performance, as well as national recognition for sustained scholarship, are essential. The Chair will be expected to be actively engaged in scholarly and educational activities and to support the company's mission of serving patients and the community.
