About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to join their executive management team and lead the HR function in alignment with strategic business goals. The successful candidate will be a key advisor on all HR matters, with a focus on developing and implementing HR strategies that support the company's objectives. This role involves leading organizational development initiatives, overseeing the full spectrum of HR activities, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities include talent acquisition, development, and retention, as well as ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, including union relations where applicable.Applicants for the Vice President of Human Resources position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree or MBA preferred. A minimum of 10 years' of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years' in a senior leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR operations in a manufacturing environment, the ability to drive change, and a proven track record of managing a dynamic business setting. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in HR software and tools, as well as in-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations, is expected. HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar are highly desirable.
