Associate Attorney - Real Estate We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney specializing in Real Estate to join our prestigious AmLaw 50 national law firm. This key role involves handling complex real estate transactions, particularly in real estate financing, lender representation, and commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS). Ideal candidates will have the opportunity to work across various locations, including Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, New York, and Washington, DC, offering flexible office preferences to support a balanced personal and professional life. Salary: $31,000.00 - $390,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct complex real estate financing and related transactions. Draft and negotiate detailed co-lender and intercreditor agreements. Represent lenders in high-stake dealings and manage relationships effectively. Process transactions involving commercial mortgage-backed securities. Collaborate with a team of top-tier attorneys to deliver comprehensive legal solutions tailored to client needs. Minimum Position Qualifications: JD from a top-tier law school with an outstanding academic record. Bar certification in the state of office location. 4-6 years of specialized experience in key areas of real estate law including financing, lender representation, and CMBS. Preferred Qualifications: Proven track record of facilitating large-scale real estate transactions. Experience in drafting complex legal documents under tight deadlines. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. Strong personal initiative and the ability to drive results in a client-focused professional setting. Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills necessary for dealing with diverse stakeholders. High proficiency in legal research and familiarity with legal database software.
