Residential Construction Assistant Project Manager Join our dedicated team as an Assistant Project Manager, supporting luxury residential construction projects. This role involves meticulous oversight of project details from initial planning to final execution, ensuring compliance and quality on-site. Located in Hackensack, this position blends field and office work, offering a dynamic environment ideal for growth in project management within the real estate development sector. Salary: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with project management teams to oversee the development of luxury residential projects. Track budgets, manage scheduling and uphold strict adherence to projected timelines. Implement and monitor on-site safety protocols, ensuring all practices meet OSHA standards. Support the creation of contracts and project scopes, assisting with RFQ responses and document management. Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless project workflows. Utilize Procore, Microsoft Project, and other project management tools to maintain accurate and timely project documentation. Minimum Position Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. At least 1 year of direct experience in residential construction project management or support roles. Proven ability to work from the Hackensack office or various job sites as required. Demonstrable understanding of Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software. Excellent organizational, communication, and detail-oriented skills necessary for success in construction projects. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in a relevant field. More than 3 years of experience in a project management or supervisory role within residential construction. Certifications related to construction management or safety regulations. Experience in sustainable building practices and certifications. Prior success in leading residential projects from inception to completion with multi-disciplinary teams. Skills: Strong leadership and team collaboration capabilities. Expertise in financial forecasting and budget management for large-scale projects. Proficient in risk management and mitigation in construction settings. Advanced problem-solving and negotiation skills.
