Medical Field Engineering Training Specialist Join our innovative team as a Medical Field Engineering Training Specialist and lead the development and execution of comprehensive training programs for our cutting-edge medical instrumentation systems. This role offers an opportunity to significantly impact the operational readiness and effectiveness of technical personnel across the globe, both in-person and virtually. Your work will ensure that the staff are effectively trained on the latest technologies in electronics, electro-mechanical systems, software, and operational protocols, enhancing client satisfaction and safety. Salary: $70,000 to $89,000 per year plus annual bonus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and conduct detailed training modules tailored for both in-person and remote delivery on topics including installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of medical instruments. Facilitate engaging and educational sessions at our Training Center in Northern NJ or at client sites, with content ranging from basic to advanced complexities. Prepare and tweak digital training materials and presentations, ensuring they are up-to-date and meet the learning objectives effectively. Collaborate with subject matter experts and technical teams to ensure training content accuracy and relevancy. Conduct assessments through theoretical and practical examinations to measure trainee progression and provide constructive feedback. Maintain and ensure optimum condition of all training-related equipment and software. Document training procedures, updates, and attendee progress; submit comprehensive reports to the Training Coordinator. Initiate new strategies for training enhancement based on attendee feedback and industry trends. Manage and respond to queries from trainees, management, or clients regarding the technical training content. Minimum Position Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related field. At least 3 years of experience in developing and delivering technical training programs. Profound knowledge of database management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively write reports, manage business correspondence, and provide clear training instructions. Solid organizational and multitasking skills. Capability to travel up to 10% as required for onsite trainings and meetings. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the medical device sector, particularly with instrumentation related to healthcare. Advanced degrees or certifications relevant to education, training, or engineering fields. Demonstrated proficiency in adapting to new technologies and software for training purposes. Background in managing virtual training environments, such as webinars and e-learning modules. Previous experience in regulatory environments understanding compliance matters related to healthcare technology. Skills: Expertise in adult education and designing interactive and participatory training sessions. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to grasp complex systems quickly. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on motivational speaking and audience engagement. Detail-oriented approach with an emphasis on accuracy and quality.
