About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead and transform its HR functions in alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and values. The CHRO will be responsible for overseeing all HR services for a large employee base, including total rewards, employee relations, succession planning, talent management, policy development, and professional development. This pivotal role demands a strategic and innovative leader who can establish a people-first culture, design and execute comprehensive employee engagement programs, and ensure the organization is a great place to work. The successful candidate will also be tasked with promoting inclusion, developing and implementing equity-focused practices, and driving performance management systems that support the well-being and growth of the staff.The ideal CHRO for the company will have a proven track record in HR leadership, a deep understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to lead a diverse team in a complex and dynamic environment. They should be a collaborative partner, a change agent, and a resourceful coach with a passion for the organization's mission. Key requirements include a BS/BA degree, professional HR certifications, and a background in fostering justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. The CHRO will be expected to have a strong business acumen, be a creative problem-solver, and demonstrate the highest ethical standards. Experience in a non-profit or social services setting is highly valued, as is the ability to ensure compliance with legal requirements and manage HR budgets effectively.
